The difference of gas shock absorber and hydraulic oil shock absorber

The difference is that a gas shock absorber is a hydraulic oil shock absorber which is injected a certain amount of low-pressure nitrogen gas, under the same design, the other physical characteristics of both shocks are almost the same ie have the same size, this means, diameter, length, also have the same piston, but will have valves with larger holes for comfort while smaller holes for driver control, this allows better control of rebound and compression. The low pressure nitrogen gas is used to avoid the problem of aeration, ie presence of bubbles in the operation of the unit, oil shock absorber during operation generates bubbles which passing through the holes in the piston ( where the process of damping ago) reduces its damping capacity, resulting in knocks and noise inside the industrial shock absorbers, the gas does is separate the oil and avoid air bubbles. This allows better performance, comfort and driving safety in the same unit, than a shock abosrber without gas.
